Joshua Terry

Communications and Campaigns Officer

Joshua joined the Legal Network in April 2017.

At the Legal Network, Joshua develops, implements and evaluates the Legal Network’s media relations, stakeholder relations and public communications activities; helps plan and manage creative strategic communications projects; and works to help develop and plan outreach to politicians and policymakers at all levels of government.

Prior to joining the Legal Network, Joshua worked as a Communications Specialist at CNIB where he led communications efforts around the organization’s launch of a new brand for its vision loss rehabilitation services, the first major rebranding of CNIB services in nearly a century. He has also worked at Toronto Community Housing, supporting media relations and issues management, and internal and corporate communications projects. He started his career working for a variety of public relations agencies and has experience in government, where he handled constituency communications for a Member of Parliament. Joshua also served as the Co-Director of Communications for ProudPolitics Canada, an organization that encourages and supports LGBTQI candidates for elected office at all levels of government. He is also a volunteer at Fife House.

Joshua holds an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from Durham College.
