Joint Statement to United Nations Human Rights Council, 14th Session re: Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
"The Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action affirms the principles of universality and non-discrimination, and yet many people continue to be denied their rights solely because of their sexual orientation and gender identity. ... The time is overdue for this Council to take up its responsibility to address these human rights violations."
