Sandra Ka Hon Chu
Senior Policy Analyst
Sandra joined the Legal Network staff in September 2007.
Previously, she worked in The Hague for the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice, an international women’s human rights organization advocating for gender-inclusive justice, where she monitored and assessed legal and policy developments at the International Criminal Court and analyzed crimes of sexual violence in the conflict situations before the Court.
Her broad international experience has also included assignments in Tripoli for the Government of Libya, in East Timor for UNICEF, in Hong Kong for the Asian Migrant Centre, and in Vancouver for the Asian Society for the Intervention of AIDS.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia, an LL.B. from the University of Toronto, and an LL.M. from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2003.
